Understanding ocean dynamics and the importance of ocean circulation in the Earth’s climate has been my passion since my early years as a graduate student.  I believe that the best way to attack these problems is to combine numerical simulations, conceptual models and observational data. This is the approach my research group and I are taking in our studies.
